Each month we will be reporting on all of the latest Wedding House news, events and trends from our retailers and services. This month, though, so you can get to know us better we thought we would give you a guided tour of our amazing venue so that when you visit, and walk up our stylish staircases, you will know exactly what is on offer.
So park up outside for free and then step inside the beautiful grade II listed building to sample an array of the elite suppliers that are permanently housed there...
First stop – the groom! Next to the original Victorian Lobby on the GROUND FLOOR you will find GROOM’s amazing flagship store which offers a wide range of suits from tails and designer suits to lounge suits. Whether you choose to buy or hire, they have everything essential for the stylish, modern groom. The bespoke manufacturing service covers suits, waistcoats and ties that will work with your wedding’s colour scheme. Add a full range of accessories to choose from and that is the groom’s look pulled together - with luxury and class. They even operate a price match policy so you can’t go wrong!

PEOPLE TO PLACES are all about getting you around on your special day in style. They supply the most prestigious and luxurious vehicles including Rolls Royce Phantoms, Bentleys and Mercedes as well as sports cars for the groom.

The BEAUTY BOX lounge is a piece of heaven! A favourite of local celebrities, this first rate team offer beauty, hair and make-up and have packages to suit everyone – whether just the bride or a whole host of ladies. In the lead up to the day you can enjoy a whole array of treatments and on your wedding day itself you should try Beauty Box’s high definition airbrush make-up techniques to get you camera ready (mobile service also offered).
As you wander up the next flight of stairs towards the 2nd FLOOR you will find CLASSIC VIDEO PRODUCTIONS. They use state-of-the-art equipment and add their reportage style, plus a sense of fun, to provide you with the ultimate way of watching your big day after the event. Their productions are hugely popular with VIP’s and celebrities – those in the know wouldn’t go to anyone else. Simply a must-have for your big day! (If you’re lucky you may even meet the Wedding House mascot – Lucy the dog).
Next door you will find MATCH-A-PRINT STATIONERY which is run by Dave McGrath, resident TOASTMASTER! He offers an exclusive collection of printed wedding stationery to match your personal colour scheme, with complimentary samples and proofs printed in advance.
When you reach the top of the 2nd flight of stairs you will find the famous CLOUD 9 BRIDAL which has the most exquisite bridal gowns, whether you prefer something simple and elegant or embellished and luxurious. Cloud 9 Bridal works closely with leading designers Ian Stuart, Ellis Bridals, Romantica, Lou Lou and Kelsey Rose to name but a few. A full range of accessories and beautiful bridesmaids’ dresses are also available. We particularly love this Ian Stuart Cannes dress, pictured above, with its 1950′s princess styling straight from the couture catwalks!
HERVE PHOTOGRAPHY is simply unique! Herve, our French photographer, wants to record your special day on film in a refreshing and individual way. His relaxed and discreet approach will bring out the best in everybody giving you beautiful, high quality photographs of your big day to treasure forever. Why not rest here and have a look through a few of his sample wedding albums?
Before you venture up the final flight of stairs to ‘The Loft’ a visit to ROCKS FOR FROCKS is a must! They specialise in providing handmade tiaras, combs and jewellery to match any special occasion outfit. They only use the finest Swarovski crystals, Swarovski pearls and freshwater pearls. A bespoke service is also available, and there is a whole range of novelty wedding accessories to add a touch of fun!
A visit to ‘THE LOFT’ is not to be missed!
The final flight of stairs will bring you to CHAIRSTYLE who will dress your venue to make your special day a truly stylish affair. They will make your wedding tables and chairs the real stars of the show, by co-ordinating with your colour scheme and theme for a show stopping effect. They even have a star-lit back drop on display!
Everyone is talking about MY SEXY BUTLER! They arrive in style to mingle, serve drinks and dinner/buffets, all clad in their famous Sexy Butler uniforms. How risqué are they? That’s up to you! Call in to the Wedding House on a Saturday or Sunday from 11am to 4pm to relax in their bar area and find out more about the hottest party people in town!
MISS BOUQUETS specialise in creating bespoke, floral arrangements using only the finest quality silk flowers. They have a full range of products from bouquets, button holes to table displays and even arches and garlands. A beautifully stylish addition to the big day!
Mike Greatbanks, our artist in residence will capture your special venue with a commissioned painting – an absolute original! The location you choose is up to you, and one of Mike’s CALIDAD CANVAS paintings will make the perfect wedding / special event gift, too!
CALIDAD JEWELLERY creates beautiful hand-crafted pieces using semi-precious stones interspersed with Swarovski crystals. They have jewellery to suit all tastes and occasions – call in to see some beautiful pieces that will really set off any special event outfit spectacularly!
